Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on Highway 290 [Manor, TX]
56-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after 2-Car Accident near Greenbury Drive
MANOR, TX (September 10, 2024) – Early Wednesday morning, one man was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 290.
The Manor Police Department responded to the scene around 2:30 a.m., near Greenbury Drive on August 28th.
First responders determined that a white sprinter van and a small sedan collided in the area.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the 56-year-old male driver of the sedan dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released his name or place of residency.
Meanwhile, the 22-year-old driver of the van sustained minor injuries. Paramedics quickly transported him to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
During preliminary duties, authorities blocked the area of US Highway 290 and Greenbury Drive while they cleared the scene. All lanes were eventually reopened by 6:00 a.m.
