25-Year-Old Rider Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Collision near Schertz Parkway
SCHERTZ, TX (September 9, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, Damon Chambers was killed in a motorcycle accident on Elbel Road.
Authorities responded to the scene around 12:35 p.m., near Schertz Parkway on August 21st.
Emergency crews say Chambers was riding a motorcycle recklessly at around 100 mph in the northbound lanes of Schertz Parkway.
Police officers attempted to stop the rider, however he continued traveling before crashing into a vehicle.
Paramedics arrived and took 25-year-old Chambers to Brooke Army Medical Center where he later passed away.
