26-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Pile-Up Collision near Vineland Avenue Off-Ramp
LOS ANGELES, CA (August 29, 2024) – A multi-car accident on 101 Freeway in North Hollywood took the life of Analee Rodriguez, early Sunday.
California Highway Patrol officers arrived to the scene around 4:55 a.m., near the Vineland Avenue off-ramp.
Upon further investigation, crews learned that the driver of a dark-colored sedan collided with the center median of the freeway.
The initial collision then caused a chain reaction, resulting in a multi-vehicle crash.
Responding emergency personnel declared the driver of the first vehicle dead at the scene. On Monday, the medical examiner’s office identified the deceased driver as 26-year-old Rodriguez.
No other injuries were reported from the incident. The CHP also issued a SigAlert at around 5:08 a.m. along the northbound lanes for investigation.
