52-Year-Old Motorcyclist Pronounced Dead after Three-Vehicle Collision near Pearl Street
WHITNEY, TX (August 26, 2024) – Monday evening, a motorcycle crash on East Jefferson Avenue claimed the life of Jason Collins.
Authorities responded to the scene around 5:10 p.m., at the 800 block of East Jefferson Avenue near Pearl Street on August 5th.
For reasons under investigation, three vehicles were involved in the collision. First responders located 52-year-old Collins down on the road upon arrival.
Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced Collins, of Whitney deceased at the scene.
In addition, no other injuries were reported. At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Once available, more details will be released.
