Two Drivers Pronounced Dead after Rollover Collision near Pershing Drive

LOS ANGELES, CA (August 26, 2024) – Sunday, Carlos Rompich-Cobach and Nordarrion Brawell died in a 2-car accident on Manchester Avenue.

Authorities responded to the 900 block of West Manchester Avenue around 5:00 a.m., near Pershing Drive on August 17th.

At this time, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, reports indicate that two vehicles collided and careened into a nearby building that was under construction.

The impact of the crash trapped both drivers inside their vehicles. Emergency crews arrived and extracted both victims from their vehicles.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced both victims dead at the scene. Investigators later identified them as 54-year-old Rompich-Cobach and 31-year-old Brawell.

The Los Angeles Police Department is currently handling the investigation. Once available, more details will be provided.
