Two Seriously Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash near McDowell Road
PHOENIX, AZ (August 14, 2024) – Tuesday morning, two victims were critically injured in a 2-car accident on 79th Avenue.
Phoenix Police Officers responded to the scene around 10:15 a.m., near McDowell Road on August 6th.
At this time, the events leading up to the two-vehicle collision remain unclear. However, reports indicate that troopers located one person trapped inside a vehicle.
Paramedics immediately extricated the trapped victim. Crews transported two occupants to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Emergency personnel blocked off the surrounding area while police officers cleared the scene.
