Driver Arrested, Multiple Hospitalized after DUI Crash on North General McMullen Drive [San Antonio, TX]
Suspect Arrested after DUI Collision near West Commerce Street
SAN ANTONIO, TX (August 13, 2024) – Saturday, one driver was arrested and others were hurt in a DUI crash on North General McMullen Drive.
The San Antonio Police Department responded to the scene around midnight near West Commerce Street on July 27th.
Investigators say the 30-year-old male driver of a grey Lexus ran a red-light at the intersection and collided with a black Chevrolet Trax.
The Chevy was then pushed into a silver Dodge Avenger that was stopped in the No. 2 lane.
Medical personnel transported the Chevy driver and a passenger to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Paramedics also took the Lexus driver to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries where he was determined to be impaired.
Upon his release from the hospital, authorities eventually booked the Lexus driver into the Bexar County Adult Detention Center where he faces DUI-relate charges.
