Thirteen Hurt in Traffic Pile-Up near West Ellis Avenue

INGLEWOOD, CA (August 13, 2024) – Sunday afternoon, a multi-car accident on La Cienega Boulevard sent multiple people to a hospital.

Inglewood Police Officers responded to the scene around 12:10 p.m., at the 6600 block of La Cienega Boulevard, near West Ellis Avenue. 

At this time, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear. However, reports indicate that multiple vehicles collided on the southbound lanes of the freeway.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, paramedics transported at least four people to a hospital. Nine other injured patients declined further medical transport.

Emergency crews have not yet released the identities of those involved.

Officials have refrained from releasing any further information about the South La Cienega Boulevard multi-vehicle crash. Los Angeles Officials will provide more information once available.
