21-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Police-Vehicle Collision near West Southcross Boulevard

SAN ANTONIO, TX (August 12, 2024) – Friday evening, Jesus Pacheco Ceniceros was killed in a motorcycle crash on Huron Street.

Authorities responded to the scene around 5:30 p.m., near West Southcross Boulevard on July 26th.

Investigators say the motorcyclist entered the intersection on a yellow light and collided with a police-vehicle.

The San Antonio Police Department vehicle then struck another car that was stopped at the red-light. The impact ejected the rider onto the road while the SAPD vehicle came to rest on the westbound lanes.

Paramedics arrived and took one officer, the other driver and 21-year-old Ceniceros to a nearby hospital for further treatment. However, Ceniceros later passed away at the hospital.

Officials have not provided any additional information about the crash to the public at this time, but they will furnish more details once available.
