Suspect at Large after Fatal Pedestrian Collision near Interstate 20
DALLAS, TX (August 8, 2024) – Sunday morning, one woman was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Julius Schepps Freeway.
Authorities responded to the 10400 block of Julius Schepps Freeway near Interstate 20 on July 28th.
According to reports, the driver of a vehicle struck a woman near the I-20 exit ramp and immediately fled the scene.
First responders located the woman unresponsive on the southbound lanes with no signs of life.
Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the female pedestrian deceased on site. Although, police officers have not yet released her identity.
Following preliminary duties, no information was released on the make of the vehicle.
Further investigation remains ongoing, and witnesses are urged to contact local officers as soon as possible.
