Unidentified Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident near Forest Lane
DALLAS, TX (August 7, 2024) – Early Sunday morning, one man was fatally struck in a pedestrian collision on North Central Expressway.
Authorities received dispatch calls in the area just after 3:00 a.m., near Forest Lane on July 28th.
First responders arrived to the southbound lanes of the freeway and located a male pedestrian laying on the road. For reasons under investigation, several vehicles struck the pedestrian.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the male pedestrian dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released his name or place of residency.
Furthermore, the involved vehicles fled the scene without rendering aid or contacting police. At this time, an active investigation remains ongoing.
