Two Unidentified Occupants Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision near West Parmer Lane

AUSTIN, TX (August 7, 2024) – Early Sunday morning, two victims were pronounced dead after a two-vehicle crash on North Mopac Expressway.

Officers arrived to the 12000 block of North Mopac Expressway near West Parmer Lane around 5:40 a.m., on July 14th.

For reasons under investigation, two vehicles collided in the southbound lanes. The Austin-Travis County EMS located the two vehicles pinned in.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, emergency crews pronounced two occupants who were inside the vehicles deceased. Although, Austin Texas Police Officers have not yet released their identities.

Responding troopers blocked the surrounding area for the duration of the incident. At this time, an active investigation into what led to the fatal two-vehicle crash on North Mopac Expressway remains ongoing.
