1 Killed, 1 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash near Road 74
DINUBA, CA (August 6, 2024) – Tuesday morning, Tracy Saenz was hurt in a head-on crash on Highway 201 that claimed the life of another woman.
Police officers responded to the scene around 8:00 a.m., near Road 74 and Avenue 400.
California Highway Patrol officers say the driver of an eastbound Toyota Corolla collided head-on with a westbound Kia Sorento.
Responding medical personnel declared the 64-year-old woman driving the Corolla dead at the scene. Although, her name has not been disclosed to the public.
Meanwhile, paramedics rushed the Kia driver, 51-year-old Tracy Saenz of Dinuba, to Kaweah Health Medical Center for further treatment.
At this time, authorities are working to determine whether drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash. Police are asking those who witnessed the crash to contact the California Highway Patrol Visalia Area Office at 559-734-6767.
