31-Year-Old Oakdale Man Dies in Two-Vehicle Collision on Yosemite Boulevard
MODESTO, CA (August 5, 2024) – Early Tuesday afternoon, Alex Betancourt was killed in a motorcycle accident on Kerr Avenue.
The incident happened around 1:00 p.m., near the intersection of Yosemite Boulevard and Kerr Avenue on July 30th.
Investigators report that a Manteca man driving an Acura TLX, heading east on Yosemite Boulevard, collided with Betancourt. The impact ejected the rider from his Harley-Davidson Dyna onto the road.
Paramedics arrived and quickly rushed 31-year-old Betancourt, of Oakdale to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Following preliminary duties, police officers do not suspect that drugs or alcohol played a factor.
Law enforcement is currently investigating the crash to gather more information.
