One Pronounced Dead after Red-Light Collision near Peabody Road

VACAVILLE, CA (August 1, 2024) – Wednesday morning, one rider was fatally injured in a red-light motorcycle crash on Alamo Drive.

The incident occurred just before 6:45 a.m., near Peabody Road on July 24th.

Investigators say a motorcyclist traveled through a red-light at the intersection. As a result, the rider struck a Ford F-150, causing life-threatening injuries.

Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the motorcyclist deceased. Authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

In addition, no other injuries were reported.

Officials closed off the surrounding road for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Authorities are actively investigating the red light collision on Alamo Drive and will release additional information as it becomes available.
