38-Year-Old Redding Man Hospitalized after Two-Vehicle Crash near Rockabye Lane
REDDING, CA (July 31, 2024) – Wednesday, Michael Garcia was hurt and Kelly Harrison was involved in a motorcycle crash on Hartnell Avenue.
The incident occurred around 12:54 p.m., near Rockabye Lane in the Northwoods area.
According to the police report, a westbound motorcycle collided with a van reversing out of a private property. Investigators say the driver of a van directly pulled into the rider’s path, resulting in a t-bone collision.
Responding emergency units rushed the motorcyclist to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. Officials later identified the male rider as 38-year-old Michael Garcia, of Redding.
It was unclear if the minivan driver identified as 33-year-old Harrison, of Redding sustained injuries from the collision. Redding Officials are currently focused on gathering additional details regarding the Hartnell Avenue crash.
