Man Dead after Single-Vehicle Collision near Agua Dulce Canyon Road

SANTA CLARITA, CA (July 31, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, one man was pronounced dead after a solo-car accident on Soledad Canyon Road.

The incident happened just before 6:00 p.m., in the area of Soledad Canyon and Agua Dulce Canyon Road on July 27th.

Investigators say the male driver of an older-model passenger van lost control and crashed into the hillside. The impact ejected the man from the vehicle onto the road.

Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released his name or place of residency.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
