21-Year-Old Man Injured, 29-Year-Old Suspect Arrested near McDonald Road
SPOKANE, WA (July 31, 2024) – Friday, Cole Reiner was hurt, and Bobby Million Jr. was arrested after a red-light crash on Sprague Avenue.
Around 6:15 p.m., first responders arrived to the scene near McDonald Road on July 19th.
Per reports, officers spotted Million Jr. driving a black Subaru without a license or license plate. He then entered the intersection on a red-light and struck a Honda, occupied by Reiner and two other people.
The impact pushed the Honda into the path of a northbound Toyota, disabling both vehicles on the southbound lanes. In addition, the Subaru then caught fire.
Medics arrived and extricated two trapped occupants from inside the Honda. Crews say 21-year-old Reiner currently remains in a coma at the hospital.
Upon his release from the hospital, police booked Million Jr. into the Spokane County Jail with charges of five counts of vehicular assault and attempting to elude a law enforcement vehicle.
