Anthony Rodriguez Dies in Motorcycle vs Pickup-Truck Crash on Sycamore Street [Hesperia, CA]
22-Year-Old Man Killed in 2-Vehicle Collision near Maple Avenue
HESPERIA, CA (July 29, 2024) – Tuesday evening, Anthony Rodriguez was killed in a motorcycle vs pickup-truck crash on Sycamore Street.
The incident occurred just after 7:00 p.m., near Maple Avenue on July 23rd.
Reports indicate that 22-year-old Rodriguez was riding a red and black 2018 Suzuki GSX-S motorcycle north on Maple Avenue. Meanwhile, the driver of a black GMC Sierra 2500 pickup-truck was turning left onto Maple Avenue.
The motorcyclist then collided with the pickup-truck, causing life-threatening injuries to the rider.
Bystanders immediately performed CPR until medical responders arrived. Paramedics transported the severely injured rider to Desert Valley Hospital where he later passed away.
In addition, the pickup-truck driver remained unharmed and did not need any medical assistance.
The Rodriguez family started a GoFundMe page to help with funeral expenses.
