One Man Dead after Minivan Vs. Pedestrian Crash near 13th Street
GARDEN GROVE, CA (July 25, 2024) – Late Wednesday night, a pedestrian accident on Brookhurst Street claimed the life of one man.
Police officers responded to the scene around 11:16 p.m., at the 14300 block of Brookhurst Street near 13th Street.
Upon arrival, authorities located the male pedestrian lying on the roadway and a 2022 Toyota Sienna in a nearby parking lot.
Despite life-saving efforts, the Orange County Fire Authority personnel declared the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the 58-year-old Santa Ana woman driving the Sienna remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
At this time, the identity of the deceased pedestrian has not been disclosed to the public. Police are asking those who witnessed the crash to contact local police as soon as possible.
