Amer Ibrahim Killed, 2 Injured in 3-Car Crash on 19th Avenue [Phoenix, AZ]
52-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Three-Car Collision near Bethany Home Road
PHOENIX, AZ (July 25, 2024) – Saturday evening, Amer Ibrahim was killed and two others were injured in a 3-car crash on 19th Avenue.
Shortly before 9:15 a.m., officers responded to the scene near Bethany Home Road on July 20th.
Per reports, the driver of a vehicle was heading west on Bethany Home Road and struck a vehicle that was turning onto westbound of Bethany Home Road.
A third vehicle that was heading east on Bethany Home Road then became involved.
Emergency responders extricated two people who were trapped inside the wreckage. Paramedics transported two drivers and another woman to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics later pronounced 52-year-old Ibrahim dead at the hospital.
During preliminary duties, troopers determined that speed played a role in the crash, and further investigation remains ongoing.
