57-Year-Old Man Dies in Two-Vehicle Collision near Lone Mountain Parkway

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (July 24, 2024) – Friday morning, Thomas Henry was fatally injured in a 2-car accident on Stagecoach Pass Road.

Authorities responded to the scene around 9:00 a.m., near Lone Mountain Parkway on July 12th.

Investigators say the driver of a vehicle rear-ended a trailer that Henry was standing near. The impact pushed the trailer into Henry, pinning him in between two vehicles.

Responding personnel extricated Henry from the wreckage. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced 57-year-old Henry deceased at the scene.

During preliminary duties, officers evaluated the driver. Impairment was not suspected as a potential factor in the collision.

At this time, the Scottsdale Police Vehicle Crimes and Reconstruction Unit is handling further investigation. Once available, further details will be provided.
