Man Hurt in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident near St. Mary’s Strip

SAN ANTONIO, TX (July 23, 2024) – Saturday evening, one man sustained injuries in a hit-and-run pedestrian collision on East Mistletoe Avenue.

Dispatchers responded to the 800 block of East Mistletoe Avenue near the St. Mary’s Strip on June 15th.

Upon arrival, authorities found a 28-year-old man down on the road.

Investigators say the driver of a vehicle struck the pedestrian outside of a marked crosswalk and immediately fled the scene. The suspect continued driving east on North St. Mary’s Street.

Responding medics treated the male pedestrian at the scene. Authorities have not yet released his name or place of residency.

Emergency personnel closed off the surrounding roadway during cleanup and preliminary duties.

At this time, the suspect remains at large. Those with further information are encouraged to contact local officers as soon as possible.
