MARICOPA, AZ (July 23, 2024) – Early Wednesday morning, one male driver was hospitalized after a patrol-vehicle crash on State Route 347.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety was called to the scene around 6:30 a.m., near milepost 177 on July 3rd.
Police officers say the driver of a vehicle slammed into the rear of a patrol-vehicle with its hazard lights on as the officer was conducting an inspection on a semi-truck.
The impact of the crash caused non life-threatening injuries to the driver. Paramedics arrived and transported the male driver to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
