Two Men Pronounced Dead after SUV Vs. Pickup-Truck Collision near Adobe Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 23, 2024) – Early Saturday morning, a head-on accident on Buena Vista Avenue claimed the lives of two male drivers.
The incident occurred around 1:59 a.m., near Adobe Road.
California Highway Patrol officers say the driver of an eastbound Chevrolet Tahoe collided head-on with a westbound Chevrolet Silverado.
Medical responders declared the 52-year-old man driving the Tahoe and the 45-year-old man driving the Silverado dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, paramedics rushed a 39-year-old male passenger of the Tahoe to Kern Medical for treatment of minor injuries.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
The coroner’s office will release the identity of the deceased victims once available. Bakersfield Officials are asking those with additional information regarding the head-on accident on Buena Vista Avenue to contact local officers as soon as possible.
