One Killed in Pedestrian vs Vehicle Collision on Española Street Northeast
ALBUQUERQUE, NM (July 22, 2024) – Wednesday, police responded to a fatal pedestrian accident on Central Avenue and Española Street Northeast.
The incident occurred just before 7:00 p.m., on July 3rd. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after receiving multiple calls in the area.
The Albuquerque Police Department says the driver of a vehicle collided with a pedestrian at the intersection. Upon arrival, first responders pronounced the involved pedestrian dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the name or place of residency of the deceased victim.
