22-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Crash near North Pershing Avenue
STOCKTON, CA (July 17, 2024) – Early Sunday morning, police arrested Estrella Preciosa Pantoja after a fatal DUI crash on Quail Lakes Drive.
Authorities responded to the scene shortly before 1:00 a.m., near North Pershing Avenue in Lakeview District.
According to reports, a vehicle driven by a 22-year-old woman was broadsided by another car. First responders transported the female driver to a hospital where she later died.
Meanwhile, police arrested the driver of the second vehicle identified as 24-year-old Estrella Preciosa Pantoja. Authorities booked Pantoja in San Joaquin County Jail for vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and two felony counts of DUI.
