4 Hospitalized after 6-Vehicle Accident on Daly Avenue [Antelope, CA]
Four Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision near Roseville Road
ANTELOPE, CA (July 17, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, a 6-vehicle accident on Daly Avenue sent at least four people to a hospital.
Dispatchers received calls around 3:16 p.m., near Roseville Road.
Investigators say the driver of a white Toyota SUV made an unsafe turn and drove directly into the path of a Chevrolet Silverado hauling a trailer.
The impact caused the Silverado to hit an oncoming white Mazda Miata and a Toyota Corolla. The Silverado then continued traveling the wrong way before colliding head-on with a red Toyota Tacoma.
Consequently, the Tacoma was pushed back and struck a Ford Explorer.
Responding emergency personnel transported the man driving the Tacoma to a nearby hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. The others involved also suffered minor injuries from the incident.
California Highway Patrol officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the Daly Avenue six-vehicle crash.
One small driving mistake can easily lead to a dangerous multi-vehicle crash. This is why it is important to drive defensively and always abide by all traffic laws. Keep your attention on the road, follow the speed limit, and never drive under the influence of altering substances.
