MALIBU, CA (July 11, 2024) – Late Thursday evening, one driver was fatally injured in a head-on collision on Pacific Coast Highway.

Around 10:15 p.m., police officers responded to the 22000 block of Pacific Coast Highway near Carbon Canyon Road on July 4th.

Officers say the driver of a white 2019 Mercedes Benz was heading east and crashed into the center median before veering into oncoming lanes. There, the Mercedes collided with a westbound 2020 Cadillac SUV.

First responders pronounced the driver of the Cadillac dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the Cadillac passenger and the Mercedes driver to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
