Three Injured in 11-Vehicle Collision near 67th Avenue

GLENDALE, AZ (July 11, 2024) – Early Thursday morning, three victims were hospitalized after an 11-car accident on Loop 101 Agua Fria.

Glendale Police officers responded to the scene at approximately 7:30 a.m., near 67th Avenue on June 27th.

The events leading up to the incident remain unclear. Upon arrival, first responders located eleven vehicles on the eastbound lanes involved in the collision.

Paramedics arrived and transported at least three victims to a nearby hospital for further treatment of unknown injuries.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Following preliminary duties, speed and distracted driving were suspected as a contributing factor of the crash. Further investigation took place while they cleared out the scene.

At this time, an active investigation to determine more information about the car accident on Loop 101 Agua Fria is still currently underway.
