34-Year-Old Driver Pronounced Dead after Pickup-Truck Crash near Quarry Road
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA (July 10, 2024) – Sunday evening, Nathaniel Lawrence was killed in a pickup-truck collision on Graham Hill Road.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene on the southbound lanes of the freeway just north of Quarry Road around 9:40 p.m., on June 23rd.
For reasons under investigation, the driver of a 2008 Dodge Ram pickup-truck was heading south and veered off the road.
The truck then crashed into several nearby trees before overturning and coming to rest.
Despite life-saving efforts, medical personnel pronounced the driver deceased. Authorities later identified him as 34-year-old Lawrence, of Felton.
At this time, alcohol or impairment was not suspected as a factor in the crash. Further investigation remains ongoing.
