Three-Vehicle Collision near Interstate 15 Overpass Left 50-Year-Old Man Dead

TEMECULA, CA (July 10, 2024) -Early Friday evening, a triple-car collision on Rancho California Road claimed the life of Glenmar Salcedo.

Deputies responded to the crash around 5:30 p.m. in the area of Rancho California Road near Interstate 15 overpass. 

Based on the initial investigation, a Hyundai SUV drove directly into the path of an oncoming vehicle. The impact of the collision caused the second vehicle to hit a third vehicle. 

Despite the life-saving efforts, first responders pronounced the driver of the Hyundai dead at the scene. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department later identified the deceased driver as 50-year-old Salcedo, of Menifee. 

Medical responders transported the two other drivers involved to a hospital for unspecified injuries. The deputies do not suspect alcohol or drugs to be a factor in the collision.
