Three Passengers Killed in Solo-Vehicle Collision near West Parker Road

CASTAIC, CA (July 9, 2024) – Early Wednesday, Taylor Roberson was arrested and three others were killed in a DUI crash on The Old Road.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene around 12:30 a.m., near West Parker Road.

Upon arrival, officers learned that the speeding driver of a silver 2010 Toyota Camry lost control of the vehicle. The car collided with a tree and ejected three passengers before catching on fire. 

Responding medical personnel declared the three passengers of the Camry dead at the scene. Meanwhile, police arrested the driver, 19-year-old Roberson of Redlands, for suspected DUI. 

Roberson was also transported to a hospital for treatment of significant injuries. The California Highway Patrol will identify the deceased victims once the next of kin has been notified.
