33-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash near Normandie Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 26, 2024) – Tuesday, Lisbeth Estrada Rodriguez died and Dwight Williams was arrested after a crash on West 46th Street.
The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m., at the 1300 block of West 46th Street and Normandie Avenue.
Based on reports, the driver of an SUV made an illegal right turn at a high rate of speed and hit a woman. The impact propelled the woman into a nearby two-story building.
Responding medical personnel arrived shortly after and declared the woman dead at the scene. She was later identified as 33-year-old Lisbeth Estrada Rodriguez.
Meanwhile, officers arrested the SUV driver, identified as 31-year-old Dwight Williams for gross negligence and vehicular manslaughter. Authorities booked Williams into the LAPD’s 77th Street Station.
