55-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead, 2 Hospitalized after Pedestrian Collision near Blodgett Street

HOUSTON, TX (June 20, 2024) – Monday evening, one man was killed and two other men were hurt in a pedestrian crash on Fannin Street.

The incident happened just after 9:00 p.m., near the intersection of Fannin and Blodgett Street on June 3rd.

Investigators say the driver of a four-door sedan collided with another vehicle before striking the curb. The car then proceeded onto the sidewalk and struck three pedestrians.

At the scene, a 55-year-old man died, while emergency responders transported two other men, aged 44 and 45, to the hospital in serious condition.
