One Pronounced Dead after Slamming into House on Elm Street

GRAHAM, TX (June 18, 2024) – Saturday evening, Juan Aguilera was killed in a police chase collision on South Street.

The incident happened around 5:00 p.m., near Elm Street on June 8th.

Reports indicate that 21-year-old Aguilera was driving recklessly near a Walmart in a gray Chevrolet Silverado. Authorities attempted to stop Aguilera, however he drove away leading to the pursuit.

The suspect was then traveling at high speeds on northbound Elm Street, and lost control of the vehicle. As a result, he crashed into a vehicle and ended up slamming into a residential house occupied by six people including a 1-year-old infant.

Emergency crews found the six occupants injured, they were all taken to Graham Regional Medical Center. Their injuries include the fractured skull, broken leg, and multiple lacerations and abrasions.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, Aguilera succumbed to his injuries, and police declared him dead at the scene.

No additional information was added, and the Graham Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety handled the investigation.
