Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay Hospitalized after Bicycle Collision
(June 17th, 2024) – Over the weekend, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay shared footage after suffering a serious bicycle crash in Connecticut.
In a shocking video posted to social media, Ramsay shows bruises to his torso area after saying he was was involved in a serious accident while riding his bike in the area.
The British reality TV star emphasized the importance of wearing a helmet while riding, no matter how short the journey is. In fact, Ramsay says he ‘wouldn’t be here’ if it weren’t for his helmet.
Though he did not suffer any life-threatening injuries, the accident left Ramsay shaken up, and in serious pain. He did not share further details about the circumstances leading up to the collision. However, medics treated Ramsay at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London.
Following his treatment, Ramsay publicly thanked the hospital staff who looked after him during his stay. He also shared a photo of his helmet with visible damage and a large crack around the rim.
