25-Year-Old Pedestrian Man Pronounced Dead after Fatal Collision near Canyon Trails Boulevard

GOODYEAR, AZ (June 13, 2024) – Early Monday evening, Devin Firth was fatally struck in a deadly crash on 167th Avenue.

Around 6:00 p.m., police officers arrived to the scene near Canyon Trails Boulevard on May 27th.

Reports indicate that the juvenile driver of a vehicle struck Firth in the area. Upon impact, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

First responders located Firth down on the road with life-threatening injuries. Paramedics quickly transported him to a local hospital for further treatment.

Due to the extent of his condition, crews later pronounced 25-year-old Firth dead at the hospital.

During preliminary duties, authorities determined that speed was a factor in the collision. An active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
