60-Year-Old Disneyland Employee Killed in Workplace Accident at Southern California Theme Park
ANAHEIM, CA (June 13, 2024) – A workplace accident at the Disneyland claimed the life of Bonnye Mavis Lear, on Wednesday morning.
Police responded to the Disneyland Resort after reports of a woman falling from a moving golf cart, leaving her with head injuries.
First responders transported the woman to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on Friday.
The Orange County Coroner’s Office later identified the deceased victim as 60-year-old Lear, of Fullerton.
According to the report, Lear worked as a cast member at Disneyland Resort for 24 years. Anaheim officials will provide more information about the golf cart accident once available.
