Man Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Collision near Vance Jackson Road

SAN ANTONIO, TX (June 12, 2024) – Monday afternoon, one man was pronounced dead after a motorcycle accident on Loop 410.

Around 2:30 p.m., police officers responded to the scene near Vance Jackson Road on May 27th.

Officers say a motorcyclist was cutting across multiple lanes of traffic and eventually lost control. The rider then fell into the road, where the driver of a passing truck hit the motorcyclist.

In addition, another vehicle was unable to maneuver out of the way in time, and also hit the rider.

Upon arrival first responders located the victim trapped underneath the truck. Emergency crews immediately extricated the victim before he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased victim.

Emergency personnel blocked the surrounding area for several hours during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, more details will be provided about the fatal motorcycle accident on Loop 410.
