58-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Three-Vehicle Collision near Winter Freeway

ABILENE, TX (June 10, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, Nicole Nash was killed in a three-car crash on Danville Drive.

Police officers responded to the scene around 12:15 p.m., at the 3200 block of North Danville Drive on May 18th.

Investigators say Nash was driving a 2000 Honda Accord north on Danville Drive, and suddenly veered left before entering the on-ramp to Winter’s Freeway.

The Honda then crashed into the side of a 2023 GMC Yukon and a 2015 Audi in the northbound lanes. Medical personnel pronounced 58-year-old Nash dead at the scene due to the extent of her condition.

Following preliminary duties, authorities ruled out intoxication as a potential factor.

The medical examiner’s office performed an autopsy on Nash to determine the cause of the crash. No updates are available at this time.
