23-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Cohansey Avenue
GILROY, CA (May 30, 2024) – Early Sunday morning, one man was killed in a pedestrian accident on No Name Uno.
Authorities responded to the scene around 12:23 a.m., near Cohansey Avenue and St. Louise Regional Hospital.
Reports indicate that the driver of a vehicle struck a male pedestrian in the area. Upon impact, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Investigators say a nurse pulled over to help render aid to the pedestrian. However, the 23-year-old man succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
Meanwhile, the driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Authorities do not suspect alcohol or drugs to be a factor in the collision.
