Raymondje Whittenburg Dead, Yaniv Herscovici Arrested after Pedestrian Accident on West Badura Avenue [Las Vegas, NV]
25-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision near 215 Beltway
LAS VEGAS, NV (May 29, 2024) – Wednesday, Raymondje Whittenburg died and Yaniv Herscovivi was arrested after a pedestrian crash on West Badura Avenue.
Around 12:27 a.m., police officers responded to the scene just south of the 215 Beltway.
Per reports, the driver of a 2022 Mazda CX-5 was heading north on Buffalo and struck a woman who was crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk.
Authorities later identified the victim as 25-year-old Whittenburg who eventually died due to the extent of injuries sustained.
Following preliminary duties, crews determined that the driver showed signs of intoxication. As a result, officers took 30-year-old Herscovici into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence.
At this time, the total number of injuries from the crash remains unclear. No further details are public at this time; however, more information will be provided once made available.
