Woman Injured in Auto vs Pedestrian Collision near El Camino Real

SAN MATEO, CA (May 29, 2024) – Sunday morning, Nathan Tuvalu was arrested after a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Millbrae Avenue.

Police responded to reports of the incident around 5:40 a.m., at the intersection of Millbrae Avenue and El Camino Real. 

Upon arrival, the deputies learned that an unidentified vehicle hit the woman and fled the scene. 

Responding medical personnel transported the woman to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. 

Later, the authorities managed to track and arrest the suspect in his residence. San Mateo officials booked 32-year-old Nathan U Tuvalu of Millbrae into the Maguire Correctional Facility for felony hit-and-run.

At this time, the police are asking those who witnessed the pedestrian crash to contact their offices as soon as possible.
