65-Year-Old Woman Injured in Bicycle vs Pedestrian Collision near Columbus Avenue
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (May 29, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, a man was arrested and a woman was injured in bicycle crash on Broadway Avenue.
The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m., near Columbus Avenue in the neighborhood of North Beach.
Upon arrival, officers determined that a 36-year-old man riding a bicycle eastbound ran past a red light and hit a female pedestrian. First responders transported the 65-year-old woman to a hospital where she remained in stable condition.
Following preliminary duties, authorities managed to arrest the bicyclist who fled the scene after the incident.
