67-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash near Ayers Street
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (May 28, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, Joe Melchor was fatally struck in pedestrian accident on Baldwin Boulevard.
The incident happened just after 6:00 p.m., near the intersection of Baldwin and Ayers Street on May 18th.
Reports indicate that a westbound vehicle struck Joe L. Melchor, 67, on Baldwin Boulevard outside of a marked crosswalk or sidewalk.
Emergency responders rushed Melchor to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
