20-Year-Old Female Driver Dies, Three Injured in Head-On Collision near Burton Drive
CAMBRIA, CA (May 27, 2024) – Sunday afternoon, Isabel Farrar, Terry Knight, Kim Fanaras sustained injuries in a head-on collision.
Around 3:20 p.m., police officers responded to the scene on Highway 1 just north of Burton Drive on May 18th.
Per reports, the 20-year-old female driver of a 2015 Honda Civic was heading north and veered into the oncoming lanes. As a result, the Honda collided head-on with a 2024 Toyota Camry, driven by Knight with Fanaras as a passenger.
Paramedics arrived and transported 19-year-old Isabel Farrar, 56-year-old Terry Knight, and 59-year-old Kim Fanaras to Adventist Health Sierra Vista for further treatment.
However, the female driver of the Civic, from Rocklin, succumbed to her injuries. Her identity was withheld by authorities.
Emergency personnel shut down the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
