28-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Rollover Crash near Lincoln Road

YUBA CITY, CA (May 27, 2024) – Early Monday morning, a man was killed and Raymond Green was hurt in a rollover crash on Highway 99.

First responders arrived to the scene just after 2:00 a.m., near Lincoln Road on May 20th.

According to the troopers, the driver failed to maintain the vehicle in his lane and crashed, causing the vehicle to overturn.

The impact ejected the driver from the vehicle onto the road, causing life-threatening injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the male driver dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity.

Meanwhile, 28-year-old Raymond Green and a three-year-old girl suffered minor wounds. Responding paramedics transported Green and the young girl to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Following preliminary duties, police believe drugs played a part in the crash. Once available, more details will be provided.
