63-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized after Pedestrian Crash near Goodlander Road

SELAH, WA (May 27, 2024) – Tuesday, Connie Shaw was hurt and Frank Uribe-Valencia was involved in a pedestrian crash on North 1st Street.

The incident occurred around 9:40 a.m., near Goodlander Road on May 14th.

Officers say 32-year-old Uribe-Valencia was driving west on Goodlander Road and made a turn onto North 1st Street. There, the vehicle struck Shaw, who was crossing within a marked crosswalk.

Paramedics arrived and transported 63-year-old Shaw to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment.

Crews shut down the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, more details will be provided.
