50-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle-SUV Collision near Robertson Avenue

CARMICHAEL, CA (May 23, 2024) – Late Saturday morning, a male motorcyclist was killed in a 2-vehicle crash on Walnut Avenue. 

The collision happened around 11:00 a.m., in the area of Walnut and Robertson Avenue near Carmichael. 

California Highway Patrol officers say a speeding motorcyclist struck an Acura SUV that was turning left onto Robertson. 

Despite life-saving efforts, medical responders pronounced the 50-year-old man riding the motorcycle dead at the scene.

In addition, the woman driving the SUV remained unharmed from the collision. Investigators added that the motorcyclist was not wearing any protective gear at the time. 

No further details regarding the Walnut Avenue two-vehicle crash have been released to the public. The Sacramento County Officials will provide more information once available.
